We provide a relxed atmosphere
We cook as much as possible with regional products and join a passion to light, aromatic cooking. We try to cook free of gluten and use recipes from Grandma Merfert. Our healthy and allergy-friendly cooking contains fresh herbs from our kitchen garden and selected spices instead of flavour enhancers.

Exceptional to exotic

To those who share the fascination of the black continent with family Merfert can choose from different African specialities. Many recipes were collected while travelling, they were created by African guest chefs and have been maintained by us for years. The African cooking distinguishes itself by a gentle preparation and short cooking times. The natural wealthy aroma of the products is supported by the use of very expressive spices. The fact that we guarantee all dishes are prepared fresh on site, is a matter of course – and naturally one can tastes this. Apart from this you have the rare opportunity to taste unusual meat specialities, like Ostrich, antelope or fillet of crocodile tail. An African Barbecue plate served on an exotically decorated table can also be a sociable highlight for you.
